Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 16 because it features sustained depictions of violence towards human characters. Not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

The cult-classic returns! Terrorize the people of 1950s Earth in the role of the evil alien Crypto-137. Harvest DNA and bring down the US government in the remake of the legendary alien invasion action adventure. Annihilate puny humans using an assortment of alien weaponry and psychic abilities.

Content specific issues

Part of the gameplay involves extracting DNA from a human character and starts with the player firing a ray gun at a character and when killed/stunned the extraction is performed. Continued use of the ray gun cause the head to explode bright green fluid, the head is completely masked at this point and the brain emerges. When observed afterwards the character is a headless torso, there is no blood, gore etc at the point where the head was attached. The violence follows the cartoon and comedic provenance of this game and is not regarded as gross violence, but it is determined to be sustained depictions of violence.
