Content specific issues

This game includes fighting between the human protagonists and hordes of zombies and monsters. The violence is cartoon-like and unrealistic. Zombies and monsters have health bars that deplete when they're hit. When enemies are defeated, they disappear in a puff of smoke, leaving behind pizza slices that can restore the players' health. When the player characters are hit, numbers indicate the damage sustained and the characters occasionally say "Ouch!", although no injury is shown. When the player is defeated, the character drops to their knees and then either respawns or is revived by another player in multi-player mode. Some of the 'boss' monsters, including dragons and giant centipedes, may be scary to younger children.

Content specific issues

The violence in the game ranges from the moderate to gross, dependent upon the type of weapon that the player’s character is using. Standard ballistic weapons will cause the death of a character, but it does invariably take a number of hits before a character dies. Once killed it is still possible to inflict further damage using any of the weapons currently available, this will result in the flesh of the character dissolving leaving a bloody skeleton behind. As the destructive capability of a weapon increases the level of damage that can be caused increases exponentially, to the point that limbs can be shot or cut off, all such incidents are accompanied by lots of blood effects. The game dialogue contains instances of the use of the sexual expletive ‘fuck’ and derivations of the word.
