Advice for consumers

The game was rated PEGI 16 for realistic violence towards human characters and the use of sexual expletives. Not appropriate for persons below 16 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

Fear Effect Sedna is set four years after the events of the original Fear Effect game, Hana accepts a small mission for a shadowy organization asking for her services. Her target: a mysterious ancient statuette held by the Chinese ambassador in France. But this 'easy' mission is about to lead Hana to something way bigger than she expected.

Content specific issues

The gameplay violence is realistic looking, characters that are shot exhibit small blood spurts. Some character can be killed quite quickly, whereas others will continue to fight for a considerable time, despite being shot a number of times. Cut scenes are seen full screen as opposed to the gameplay where the characters are small in size. Even though the depictions of violence in cut scenes are more detailed, the severity is nonetheless still regarded as moderate. The game also contains the use of the sexual expletive ‘fuck’, ‘fucking’.
