Brief outline of the game
Gold edition of the remake of the 2005 action shooter in which government agent Leon S. Kennedy gets more than he bargained for when a rescue mission turns into a life-or-death struggle against a bloodthirsty cult, a gruesome plague, and a malevolent conspiracy.

This game contains depictions of graphic violence towards human characters. Players encounter human enemies who are possessed by a parasite. These enemies can be completely dismembered and decapitated using different calibres of firearms. There are also examples of violence to vulnerable and defenceless characters. One scene during gameplay depicts a captured police officer tied to a stake. A group of infected then set the pyre alight which causes the man to panic and scream as he is burnt alive. Resident Evil Resistance is a competitive online multiplayer game in which one player must prevent four other captive players from escaping from a terrifying test facility populated by Umbrella Corp's mutant creations.

Violence is regarded as very bloody and graphic. Hand-held weapons such as a sledgehammer or wooden bat wrapped in barb wire will cause superficial injuries that are accompanied by large splatters of blood, however firearms such as a mini-gun and shotgun will progressively remove flesh and ultimately destroy body parts causing mutilation and decapitation, again this is accompanied by lots of blood effects. The dialogue includes the use of the sexual expletive ‘fuck’ and derivations of the word.
