Magicka: Wizard Wars is a fast paced action game that utilizes the dynamic spell casting system of Magicka, tasking players to form teams of four and blaze their way across the battlefield together.

Game features the use of bladed weapons and magical spells. When used against a character (human or fantasy) they invariably cause the character to be covered by a cloud of blood. In addition there are occasions when indeterminate 'chunky bits' are ejected from the cloud of blood. This all disappears quickly leaving no trace of the character. This type of violence is sustained throughout the game.
