Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 12 because it features moderate violence. Not suitable for persons under 12 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

Adventure role-playing game in which the player takes on the role of Dave as he and his two associates aim to build a successful sushi restaurant. To do this, Dave must dive for fresh fish every day, also discovering artifacts and secrets underwater, and then run the restaurant at night.

Content specific issues

This game contains non-realistic looking violence towards pixelated humans and fish. Players are tasked with catching fish, which they do using a variety of weapons. When hit, a targeted fish will bleed into the surrounding water. Once caught, the fish will immediately disappear. The player's character can also be attacked by some species of fish, which causes him to bleed. When the player's character dies, the screen fades. If the player's character is running out of oxygen, a flashing red light is seen around the screen as a warning to the player. No injuries are seen when this happens. As soon as the player approaches an oxygen tank, health is restored.  There are also scenes in which the player can fight other humans underwater. The enemies flash when hit, with a reduction in health points. Once their health depletes, they simply float and stop attacking but do not die and can be spoken to afterwards.

Other issues

The game also contains depictions of alcohol. While serving customers in the sushi bar, the player is asked to pour beers. The player is not able to consume the alcohol themselves. Bottles of alcoholic beverages are also visible at the sushi bar. The owner of the bar can, at times, be seen drinking from a bottle which resembles beer when he is on a boat. This game contains scenes that may be frightening to young children. At one point, while diving for a specific artifact, a large kraken-like creature’s eye appears seemingly out of nowhere, before it swims away. The atmosphere during this scene creates a sense of dread.

Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 16 because it features sustained depictions of violence. Not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

Tactical action game, set during the Warring States period in Japan, in which players battle hordes of soldiers with the aim of claiming victory in battle.

Content specific issues

The majority of the gameplay relates to fighting and killing large armies of human characters. Enemy characters flash when hit and jerk backwards and fall to the floor before disappearing. Some characters grunt or groan when they are hit, but no blood or injury detail is shown. Similarly, when horses are hit, they whinny before standing on their hind legs and then falling to the ground and disappearing. The game also contains scenes of implied violence towards humans in which the actual violence is not shown. For example, one cut-scene shows a woman climbing on top of a solider, about to punch him, before the solider pulls out a pistol and shoots it at the woman. A shot is heard, after which the screen turns white, implying that she has been killed, although the impact is not shown. Another scene shows a large mass of dead bodies scattered on the floor after a battle, although no blood or wounds are visible.

Other issues

On the character selection screen, players can choose from a selection of costumes for characters. Each female character has a costume that is more revealing than their usual outfit. The player is able to adjust the camera and look underneath the character's skirt, where their underwear can be seen, as well as an above shot showing the characters’ chest. There are also references to drugs, alcohol, gambling and suicide.

Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 7 because it features mild violence that lacks any apparent harm or injury to fantasy or mythical beings and creatures, and pictures or sounds likely to be scary to young children. Not suitable for persons under 7 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

Adventure game in which storybook characters discover a three-dimensional world outside the pages of their book and must jump between 2D & 3D realms to save their friends.

Content specific issues

This game contains frequent mild violence. In all cases, violence is unrealistic in nature, as are reaction to it: enemies disappear in puffs of smoke when defeated, they often do not display visible harm or hurt, and if the player is defeated, they are shown a game-over screen, after which the game resets. The game features one segment in which the player battles a female elf on a collectible trading card. This elf displays some scratches on her body when she is almost defeated, though attacks in this segment do not connect. The harm remains minor in all cases. The game also features segments that may scare very young children, most notably a stealth section in which the player sneaks around realistic-looking beetles. These segments features a dark environment and ominous music.

Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 12 because it features moderate violence. Not suitable for persons under 12 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

Role-playing game in which players collect characters and ships, upgrading them and creating teams of up to five units which are then brought into a turn-based combat system against a group of enemy AI-controlled units and player-made teams.

Content specific issues

This game features moderate violence which is inflicted using lightsabres and handheld blasters. Characters recoil slightly when hit and damage is shown as a number value and a reduction in health. When a robotic antagonist has been defeated it will disappear from view. When a human-like character has been beaten there is a painful cry before it too disappears. However, there are no blood effects.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of Crystals, using real money. This in-game currency can be used to purchase items from the store - such as gear, skill upgrade materials, character shards, ship shards, credits, energy refreshes, and mods - which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers, or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
