Brief outline of the game
Role-playing game, set in 1850s Japan, in which players create either male or female Ronin protagonists. Players choose who they ally with and forge bonds with various characters as they take part in several key battles and historical events.
Content specific issues
This game contains depictions of graphic violence towards human characters. When characters are hit, they can be dismembered or decapitated, with high levels of blood. The game also allows players to visit gambling dens where they can play the game Odds and Evens, making bets on their choices by purchasing tokens with an in-game currency. Tokens you have won can then be exchanged for prizes.
Other issues
This game contains depictions of suicide and references to suicide.

DLC for the game Dyschronia Chronos Alternate. In this third episode, which picks up from where the previous story left off, players take on the role of a detective with the ability to travel in time, which he uses to solve mysteries.

This game features moderate violence, with both conventional and futuristic weapons being used against human characters. The violence is non-realistic looking and when characters are hit, they either disappear quickly or fall to the ground and remain motionless. There is some sight of blood on the ground afterwards. The base game contains occasional use of bad language, including ‘bullshit’ and ‘goddamn’.

Brief outline of the game
Platform game in which players play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy, saving animals captured by Dr. Eggman and foiling his plans for world domination.
Content specific issues
Violence consists of the player jumping on, or rolling through, robotic fantasy enemies that disappear in a puff of smoke to reveal a cute little animal inside. When the player is hit by an enemy or an obstacle, their character falls back and loses all their rings, and blinks for a few seconds. When defeated, they simply fall off screen. The setting is child-like.
Other issues
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of DLC packs, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

Brief outline of the game
Co-operative hack-and-slash action role-playing adventure, set in a medieval fantasy and pixel art environment, as a resistance movement of heroes fights back against Blight the Horrible and his dragon army who have overthrown the King. With six different classes to choose from, players se their special hand-to-hand fighting skills and magic to kill hordes of thieves, huge monsters, vicious animals and undead villains. This Chronicles Edition contains the original game as well as the sequel.
Content specific issues
Violence towards human-like characters results in brief splashes of red blood. However, both the characters and blood quickly disappear upon death. The violence is non-realistic looking. Attacks on fantasy characters result in a flash and a reduction in health. Once defeated, fantasy characters explode or dissolve into a heap, leaving a green stain. Again, the violence is non-realistic looking.

Brief outline of the game
Point-and-click adventure in which characters from the Sonic franchise celebrate Amy's birthday by playing a murder mystery game on a train. Players must help the characters solve the 'murder' by collecting evidence and questioning suspects.
Content specific issues
A character is seen on the ground, unconscious, after an attack with a poisonous dart. No characters actually die. A mini-game features Sonic avoiding hazards such as spikes and gaps. These cause him to blink or fall down, after which the game restarts.
Other issues
One of the train carriages is a 'casino car' featuring poker tables and slot machines. While players can agree to 'play' the slots in text dialogue, no gambling is visually depicted and the rules of the games are not explained. There is no actual betting. There is use of extremely mild terms, such as 'dang', 'dangit' and 'heck'.

Side-scrolling action platform game in which a ninja and her samurai brother have to rid the world of an evil force in feudal-era Japan.

This game features violence directed at non-detailed human-like and fantasy characters. Violence and reactions are unrealistic: enemies flash red when hit and disappear in puffs of smoke when defeated. The player’s character disappears in a flash when hit, which results in the loss of a heart. When all hearts are depleted, the game restarts at the latest check-point. Violence never results in any visible harm or hurt.

Brief outline of the game
Exploration game, set in a post-Apocalyptic America, after it has been infected with a force known as the 'Miasma' which turns living things into savage monsters. Players take on the role of a young man who travels with his robot brother as they set off on a quest for answers.
Content specific issues
Violence mainly comprises turn-based battles in which the player's human character, and his robot companion, fight against mutated enemy creatures. When hit, the creatures flinch and bleed, after which they collapse and disintegrate. However, if attacked using explosives, the creatures can be dismembered into various bloody body parts. When the human and robot characters are hit, they flinch with some blood shown, falling to the ground once their life meter is depleted. In a cinematic scene, a woman is shot dead while trying to flee. There is also sight of human corpses, crucified or riddled with arrows.
Other issues
There is use of bad language, including 'bitch', 'dick', 'piss', 'shit' and 'bastard'. Players are able to explore damaged premises, including a former adult store in which sex dolls and sex toys can be seen.

Second episode in the episodic visual novel mystery in which players take on the role of an investigator who must solve a high profile murder, using their ability to interact with and rewrite the past. The game is set in Astrum Close, one of the last safe havens for mankind.

This game features moderate violence, chiefly during cutscenes which show characters being shot, seen from a distance. Characters react to violence in a non-realistic manner, quickly disappearing or falling to the ground without detail. The game also contains occasional use of bad language, including ‘bullshit’ and ‘goddamn’.
