Adventure role-playing game in which a novice archivist sets out to explore a distant world.

Players must type words to cast magical spells at enemies. These enemies are non-human and have a health bar, which is diminished by the spells. When enemies are defeated, they faint and disappear. If the human protagonist is hurt, the edges of the screen briefly turn red and she makes sounds that indicate she's hurt. No injuries are ever visible. If the protagonist is killed, she falls to the ground before the screen fades to black and the player returns to an earlier checkpoint.
