DLC which takes place 25 years prior the events of the action role-playing adventure game, Forspoken. In this prequel, Frey finds herself following a mysterious voice that leads her to travel back in time, where she must live out another character's past life.

Content specific issues

The base game includes suicide references when a woman is pushed to the point of attempting suicide, although this is prevented by a mystical presence which transports her to another realm. There is also frequent use of strong language ('fuck').

Other issues

The game also contains strong and realistic violence towards humans. Some cutscenes in the game show fights between a human character and multiple human soldiers. The soldiers recoil and react to each attack, grunting when struck and killed, without bloody detail. Their corpses stay on the ground for the duration of the fight. This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of DLC purchased through the base game, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for anyone below this age. This rating has been given because it features graphic violence, motiveless killing of innocent characters, and use of strong language. Not suitable for persons under 18 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

Open world action game in which players take on the role of a thuggish medieval peasant who fights and steals on his way to a grand tournament where he hopes to marry a princess.

Content specific issues

This game features graphic violence, which can be inflicted with a wide range of weapons including swords, axes, spears, crossbows and grenades. Violence is generally presented realistically and results in copious blood splatter and sight of blood on the ground. The player's character can use a lighted torch to set other characters on fire. The player's character is able to attack and kill innocent residents of the town, although this does trigger the arrival of 'sheriffs'. The game also features use of strong language ('fuck'), both in dialogue and in in the form of graffiti. The graffiti also includes some crudely drawn sexual images.

Other issues

A comic scene, inspired by Monty Python, involves a knight whose limbs have been chopped off but who seems to be unaffected by the violence. The severing of his limbs is not shown. The game also features references to drugs, one of which is called 'weed', although drug use is not shown. There is use of visuals that suggest hallucination. Alcohol can be consumed, although excessive use results in ill effects.

Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 16 because it features strong violence, sustained depictions of violence towards human characters. Not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

RUST Console Edition is an online, first person survival game where 100 players spawn on a randomly generated island with only one goal: to survive. Players fight (or team up) to survive against the cold, hunger and radiation by collecting resources, fighting off wild animals, NPCs and other players with a wide range of craftable tools and weapons.

Content specific issues

Violence in the game is both sustained and realistic. When fighting other human characters their reactions can be seen as a 'rag doll 'movement when hit by a primitive weapon such as a spear. In one example a character is hit in the head with a spear, there is no blood or gore and the character falls unnaturally to the floor, but when a character is shot there is a realistic reaction and blood splatter. Post-mortem injuries cannot be inflicted, however there are blood splatters when a character is shot or hit with for example a rock, after death.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of purchaseable packs of virtual currency through the in-game store. These 'RUST Coins' will be be used to either purchase cosmetic only skins through the in-game skin store, or rent a server for a specified amount of time. Once this time is over, players will need to purchase more coins to extend their rental., which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

A helicopter crash left a group of explorers stranded near an Arctic base. As they try to find a way back, all they are doing is sinking deeper into a nightmare scenario. When they sleep, they attract a terrifying force that sucks the life out of their bodies, but the longer they battle exhaustion and stay awake, the less likely they are to survive...
