Advice for consumers

Brief outline of the game
Dark fantasy adventure game, with action elements, inspired by the 'Inquisitor' book series by Jacek Piekara. Set in an alternative version of the Middle Ages, in which an army of religious zealots brutally enforce their faith, players take on the role of the Inquisitor, Mordimer Madderdin, as he is sent by the Holy Order to the town of Koenigstein, where he uncovers dark forces.
Content specific issues
Cinematic cutscenes depict graphic violence, in the context of acts of torture performed by fanatics in an alternative version of the Middle Ages. This includes sight of the cutting off of heads and limbs, as well as the use of spiked torture devices on restrained individuals. There is use of blood effects and expressions of pain from the victims. There is also sight of disembowelled and mutilated bodies after acts of violence. Violence during general gameplay can be strong and realistic but is less graphic than the violence depicted in the cutscenes. The game also includes use of strong language ('fuck').
Other issues
The narrative of the game, which is set in an alternative version of the Middle Ages, features ideas which some people may find offensive, including the notion of an alternate version of Jesus as a physically violent and vengeful character. In one scene, this alternate version of Jesus is depicted, in the form of a puppet show, attacking Roman soldiers and beheading a Roman Emperor.
