Advice for consumers

This game is rated PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for anyone below this age. This rating has been given due to violence against multiple innocents and vulnerable people.

Brief outline of the game

Action RPG/shooter. Set in 2029, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided picks up two years after the events of Human Revolution and explores the divisions between augmented and natural humans in the aftermath of the Aug Incident – a global catastrophe in which augmented people were driven to violent insanity. You play as Adam Jensen, a former private security chief, now working with Interpol, while also investigating the shadowy causes of the Incident.

Content specific issues

This game features violence against multiple innocents and vulnerable people, and strong language. Though it is not encouraged, players can shoot random people in civilian settings. When they hear shots, civilians will try to run and hide and though police are dispatched to stop the player, they are not prevented entirely. In another scene, the player can watch as a bloodied and bruised man is punched hard in the face, while his hands are tied behind his back.

Other issues

The game also features frequent use of the word ‘fuck’. One scene in the game shows a bombing in a train station.
