Brief outline of the game

Demons Age is a RPG that combines classic turn-based role-playing with modern graphics and an intense atmosphere. Moragon has once again been invaded by Demons. The corrupted soldiers of the “Order” along with orcs and demons have swept the Peninsula of Moragon from north to south in a violent and bloody war against Elves, Dwarves, Halflings and Men.

Content specific issues

Violence in the game is mostly towards fantasy characters, however there is some violence against human characters as well. The violence against human characters is realistic in the sense that when a character is hit, there are some blood effects and the character makes a pained sound. When the playable characters’ health bar depletes, they fall to the ground and their body disappears after a few seconds.

Brief outline of the game

This is a pixelated 3D dungeon crawler in which the player has find his way through the dungeon in first person perspective. He also has to defeat enemies (bats, zombies and other fantasy creatures) without getting hurt himself.

Content specific issues

The game contains unrealistic violence against fantasy creatures such as green skulls. The player can attack them with magic or with a weapon which causes no injuries or reaction until the enemy is defeated. The game also contains undetailed violence against undetailed human like character. When enemies are too close the players screen turns red shortly and he loses health points. Lastly, pictures or sounds likely to be scary to young children can be found, as the surroundings get darker and creepier (eyes on the walls, creepier monsters) the further the player proceeds in the game.

Game contains the use of the following offensive words: piss, and screw. The violence in the game is primarily directed at fantasy characters and is regarded as non-realistic. The human characters that are paired with a Digimon character are not directly targeted with violence with the exception of some scenes in which one human character slaps another around the face, resulting in a comical scuffle between the two. No injuries are shown but this is reflected in the rating.
