There is one cut scene of note in which a human character is run through with a sword, from the back to the front, there are no blood effects. Despite the method used to inflict the violence, there is just an initial a cry of pain from the character who after falling to his knees remains upright. The character does not display any further reaction to the severity of the violence, either audibly or physical and engages in a dialogue with an enemy who eventually kills him with a magical weapon. Not realistic looking violence.
