Players take on the role of a space marine who must stop teleported demons from attacking Mars and reaching Earth.

Content specific issues

This game features strong violence, with the player required to battle both demons and human characters who have been transformed into zombies. The use of more powerful weapons can result in the cutting off of limbs, accompanied by copious blood effects. After a character dies it is possible to inflict further damage, causing skin to dissolve and leaving behind a bloody skeleton. There is also use of strong language ('fuck').

Advice for consumers

This game is rated PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for anyone below this age. This rating has been given due to graphic bloody violence and the use of sexual expletives.

Brief outline of the game

Fend off attacks from zombified base personnel and the demons from Hell by destroying an experimental teleportation array that was captured by the demons and is currently held deep inside Hell.

Content specific issues

The violence in the game ranges from the moderate to gross, dependent upon the type of weapon that the player’s character is using. Standard ballistic weapons will cause the death of a character, but it does invariably take a number of hits before a character dies. Once killed it is still possible to inflict further damage using any of the weapons currently available, this will result in the flesh of the character dissolving leaving a bloody skeleton behind. As the destructive capability of a weapon increases the level of damage that can be caused increases exponentially, to the point that limbs can be shot or cut off, all such incidents are accompanied by lots of blood effects. The game dialogue contains instances of the use of the sexual expletive ‘fuck’ and derivations of the word.
