With the Iceborne expansion for Monster Hunter World, the player will explore a new land, take on new quests and challenges, and encounter new monsters.

Content specific issues

This game requires the base game “Monster Hunter: World” to run and therefore carries its rating. The base game received its rating for depictions of realistic looking violence towards animal-like and fantasy characters. The majority of the violence is realistic in nature, with creatures making pained noises when they have been attacked and some mild blood effects shown. Some of the creature’s limbs, such as their tails, can be dismembered during battle, although it is not graphic in detail. When the creatures have been defeated they fall to the floor and their bodies remain there until they have been looted. To loot the creature the player must perform a carving animation on the body using their weapon, no visible damage is shown on the body during these sections.

Other issues

This game offers in-game items which may be purchased by the player using real-world money. Game also contains the word "piss".
