Fighting game, which goes back to the original characters and roots of the Mortal Kombat story, giving insights about how later events in the series came to be.

Certain fight moves result in mini-cutscenes being shown which feature large amounts of blood and sight of bones breaking, shown in 'X-ray' view from within the body.
