Characters in the game are shot and punched, but the realism of this violence is curbed by the game’s style, which features angular 2D characters, largely static backgrounds and minimal animation. Horror scenes include an infected boy shaking and crying out as his skin starts to blister and melt away, leaving a sinewy corpse and then just a puddle of blood. There are also images of a mutilated corpse and a hospital full of dying patients. The game features frequent mild swearing and offensive language including ‘bitch’, ‘bastard’, ‘whore’, ‘prick’, ‘shit’ and ‘godammit'.
