Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This rating has been given because it features graphic violence and use of strong language.

Brief outline of the game

First person shooter set in the Call of Duty universe, containing Battle Royale and DMZ.

Content specific issues

This game contains depictions of graphic violence towards human-like characters, inflicted using firearms, explosives and other weapons such as knives. Blood appears when characters are hit. If a character comes into contact with a rotating helicopter propeller their body explodes into multiple bloody chunks, leaving behind bloodied limbs. In addition, if a character is shot in the head with a powerful weapon their head explodes, leaving behind a bloody neck stump. Their headless body will then limply fall to the floor where it will remain. The game also contains infrequent use of strong language ('fuck').

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of an in-game currency, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items. There is also infrequent depiction of illegal drugs. Some calling cards and emblems have marijuana themes such as cannabis leaves and images of people and skeletons smoking.

Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for anyone below this age. This rating has been given due to depictions of graphic violence towards human-like characters. Not suitable for persons under 18 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

First-person shooter in which players battle to be the last person standing on a continuously shrinking map, or work to scavenge the greatest amount of cash against the clock.

Content specific issues

Violence involves the use of a wide array of weapons, from guns through to rocket launchers and explosives. When characters are shot, they react realistically with some blood splatter. Characters who are defeated are transported to an area called the 'Gulag' in which they can fight with another defeated player. A cut scene shows an enemy character's throat being cut, in slow motion, resulting in sight of blood spray from the wound. There is infrequent use of strong language ('fuck').

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of COD POINTS within the game store and when you buy them you can use them to buy in game items, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
