Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 16 because it features strong violence and gory images. Not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

Tactical role-playing game in which players take on the role of a young hero who, accompanied by his pet dog and other comrades, fights back against the Daughters of Mercy and their plan to end the world.

Content specific issues

Violence during general gameplay is non-realistic in nature, with damage shown using numbers and a reduction in health. Once an enemy's health expires, they disappear. If the player's character or companions are defeated, they fall to their knees dazed until they are revived or the event concludes. Certain fantasy characters can cut off their own heads and transform into dragons, although this only results in an unrealistic purple substance streaming out. Cutscenes feature stronger violence, including a sequence in which a character is executed using a guillotine, resulting in streams of purple fluid.

Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 3. Suitable for all ages.

Brief outline of the game

Life simulation game in which players control a young turnip as it grows up, bonds with other characters, and tries to live as long as possible. Players can choose from a free life mode, which allows them to grow their turnip as they choose, or a mission mode which gives them specific objectives.

Content specific issues

Players may be forced to give a poisonous mushroom to another character. This does not directly or visibly harm them, but in-game text indicates that the life expectancy of the character is decreased as a result. When players react angrily to another character, their turnip may make a somewhat rude arm gesture. The gesture is very quick and non-detailed, however, and shown from a distance.

Other issues

Turnip characters may 'romance' other turnips. If their bond increases, they eventually reach the 'procreate' level, at which stage a baby turnip pops from the ground. However, nothing directly sexual is shown beyond kissing. When turnips die, they fall over, disappear into the ground, and are replaced by a tombstone.

Content specific issues

This game features mild violence directed at fantasy characters. This violence is unrealistic in nature, as are reactions to it. Characters fall down after being hit and their body remains on the floor unconscious for the remainder of the match. These occurrences are cartoon-like in nature, which makes them less disturbing.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of cosmetic items and a season pass, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This rating has been given because it features graphic violence.

Brief outline of the game

Role-playing game, set in the dark fantasy world of Sanctuary, in which the player's character unwittingly comes upon a town which has succumbed to the machinations of Lilith and must stop the forces of evil from taking over the world of Sanctuary by fighting the demons and enemies in their path.

Content specific issues

This game contains infrequent depictions of graphic violence towards human-like characters. The most notable examples occur in the games cutscenes, in particular a scene in which a man is being eaten alive by wolves. His skin is torn off his back while he screams and whimpers in pain. Strong blood effects and injury detail are present, including a dismembered finger which is spurting blood onto the floor. Another cutscene depicts a man being lifted into the air by an unknown force and then his limbs being snapped and broken. Violence during gameplay is less strong but does include realistic impacts, sight of blood, and characters limply falling to the floor. Gameplay violence is shown from a distant top-down perspective. There are gory images, in the aftermath of violence, including sight of decaying and mutilated bodies.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of an in-game currency which can be spent on a battle pass and cosmetic items, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items. The game also features some bad language, including 'bastard', 'bloody' and 'shite'.
