Content specific issues
Violent scenes include still images of a woman being strangled with a rope from behind, and another of a man being stabbed in the side. Some blood is shown and there are some sound effects to accompany the violence but no reactionary details to make it realistic. Another scene includes a criminal being publicly flogged, the scene is set in the background, the man’s responses are disproportionate to the pain being inflicted upon him and there are no visible blood or injuries. Mild language includes words such as ‘arse-licker’, ‘bloody’, ‘bitch’, ‘bollocks’, ‘gods be damned’, ‘piss’, and ‘shite’. Some of the cards feature gruesome characters shown in the previous GWENT game which some players may find disturbing.
