Advice for consumers

This game has been rated PEGI 12 for depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. Not suitable for persons under 12 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

Spellbreak is a fantasy battle royale experience featuring magical combat and spellcasting. Players choose a class, weave spell combinations and fight to become an all-powerful battlemage.

Content specific issues

This game contains frequent depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. Bright lights and magical effects appear upon impact of attacks. All characters feature a health bar above their heads which depletes when they take damage. Characters have little to no reaction to the violence, with the exception of when they are electrocuted, in which case their bodies will react as though they are being shocked. Regardless of what attack is used there are never any visible injuries. When a character’s health bar has been depleted, their bodies will instantly vanish, and loot will be left behind.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of character skins and emotes which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
