Advice for consumers

The game was rated PEGI 12 for occasional non-realistic violence towards human characters and realistic violence towards fantasy characters. Not appropriate for persons below 12 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

The game begins as Sash Lilac and Carol Tea—an anthropomorphic dragon and wildcat, respectively—rescue a duck-billed creature named Torque after his spacecraft crash lands. At Torque's request, the three set out to protect a powerful relic called the Kingdom Stone. This involves them in a conflict between three nations on their planet.

The cinematics scenes provide the extreme of the violence: In one scene an alien character strikes at the head of human-like character, using a bladed weapon. At the moment of impact the head disappears to be replaced by feathers floating away. The character’s headless body then falls to the floor. There is no blood and the neck area is completely black in colour. Another scene involves a human-like character that is restrained in a transparent tube to which electrodes are attached. The character is then subjected to cartoon style electric shock treatment. Some screaming, but no visible effects seen once the electricity stops.

Content specific issues

The game features heavily pixelated human characters. Every so often, your character may have to shoot one of the other survivors who has become ill or infected; they will fall to the ground with a pink blood effect. Mild swearing is featured infrequently, for instance: ‘The world has gone to shit... these zombie bastards’.

Brief outline of the game

Action RPG. In the year 2054, earth suffers serious collateral damage from war between two alien races. To save humanity, earth’s population is evacuated into enormous spaceships. You play as an explorer on the uncharted planet Mira, which an American ship is seeking to establish as ‘New LA’.

Content specific issues

There are several cut scenes featuring realistic violence towards fantasy characters. One example features a long spiked sword being plunged through an alien’s chest, while brown fluid pours out and the creature twitches in pain. Non-realistic violence against human characters is also frequent in both gameplay and cut scenes. During gameplay, human characters will stagger, fall down and remain on the ground upon defeat, but the realism of this reaction is lessened by a ghostly ‘smoke’ effect which rises up from their bodies. In one cut scene, a character is seen to have lost their arm in an explosion but rather than blood or gore, electrical parts and blue fluid are exposed. The game contains some mild swearing such as ‘bastards’, ‘bullshit’ and ‘pricks’, and some offensive language like ‘damn you’.

Other issues

This game features online playing capability which may involve real-time interaction with other players.
