Content specific issues

This game features frequent non-realistic violence towards human characters. Characters use punches, kicks and special moves, including magical abilities. Players grunt and recoil when hit, accompanied by flashing effects. There is no blood or gore during combat. One cutscene shows a character being stabbed. Although the impacts are obscured, there is a small amount of blood visible. The game also includes mild bad language ('bastards').

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of post-launch DLC content (Season Pass), which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items. There are also undetailed references to suicide.

Other issues

Violence is generally implied rather than visually depicted, because it is usually seen from a first person perspective. For example, the player's character is knocked out by a punch, although the impact itself is not seen. In one cutscene, a character is stabbed, although the scene is undetailed and the visuals are presented in the visual style of a comic book. There are some brief blood effects and a loud scream. The game also features some disturbing images, including dead bodies covered by bloody rags and sight of severed arms and body parts, as well as blood on walls. The game has a dark and ominous tone, with sinister music playing, and many locations being empty and abandoned. In one scene, the player must steal some alcohol and give it to another character as a bribe, although the alcohol cannot be used by the player's character.

Content specific issues

Violence during battles is non-realistic with non-realistic reactions. Characters do not show any visible injuries, with damage indicated by numbers and a reduction in health bars. When enemies are defeated, they disappear. When player characters are defeated, they fall down and then respawn as a ghost and can then be revived.

Other issues

Players can bet credits on an esports team. There's nothing of real-life value being transferred to the player and the betting is not glamorized or encouraged. No additional credits can be purchased, and credits have no value outside of the game. One ability that players can use is entitled 'self-harm'. This simply allows players to exchange some of their health points for a damage boost. However, no actual self-harm is depicted.
