The game also contains turn-based battles between human-like and fantasy characters, using both weapons and magical abilities. When characters are struck, any damage is indicated using numbers and flashing effects, without any realistic reactions and with no sight of blood or injuries. Most defeated characters disappear, although some faint onto the ground, awaiting revival or the end of the battle. Some cinematic sequences show characters engaged in close combat, including slashing with bladed weapons, but their physical reactions remain unrealistic.

Content specific issues

This game contains depictions of non-realistic violence towards human characters. Mould is a new mechanic in the game, which develops when food items are left unattended or when areas are not cleaned regularly. Mould can then infect Sims and, if left untreated, the Sim will eventually die. Sims will cough, sputter and clutch at their chest whilst green mushrooms begin to sprout on their body. This game also contains implied sexual content. As in previous versions of the game, sex takes place out of view although bed sheets can be seen moving with the characters making sounds underneath.

Content specific issues

Side-scrolling fighting game sequel, presented in the hand-drawn style of the original Asterix comics, in which players can switch between controlling Asterix or Obelix as they travel the world and defeat enemies.

Content specific issues

There is mild violence against human and animal characters throughout the game. However, the violence is comical and unrealistic. Characters can be knocked down, resulting in comic book-style speech bubbles appearing which say things such as 'Pow' or 'Oof'. Characters can also be knocked into the air, or have stars circling their heads. There are no visible injuries. When Asterix or Obelix's health is depleted, they simply fall or sit down and the level ends.
