Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This rating has been given because it features graphic violence, violence against vulnerable and defenceless characters, motiveless killing of innocent characters, encouragement of gambling , and strong language.

Brief outline of the game

Compilation featuring updated versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Enhancements include new lighting, environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, and Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting.

Content specific issues

This game features frequent strong violence, including the ability to attack and kill innocent, vulnerable and defenceless characters, using vehicles and a wide variety of weapons. Stealth attacks can be used, which involve coming up behind other characters and slitting their throats. There is sight of blood spurts when characters are attacked. Some of the violence is graphic and can result in dismemberment or mutilation, such as attacking people with a chainsaw, running them over with a combine harvester, or setting fire to people with Molotov cocktails. It is also possible to shoot off characters' heads using an assault rifle. There is also use of strong language ('cunt', 'fuck', 'motherfucker'), as well as discriminatory terms. It is possible to enter casinos and gamble.

Other issues

There are crude references to sexual activity, including the production of pornography, as well as the ability to request lap dances in strip clubs. It is also possible for the player's character to engage in sexual activity with prostitutes, although this is only implied (for example, through sight of the exterior of a vehicle shaking). There are references to drug dealing and sight of illegal drug use.
