Advice for consumers

This game has been rated PEGI 12 for depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters, and use of mild bad language. Not suitable for persons under 12 years of age.

Brief outline of the game

Hyper Scape is an online-only Battle Royale-type game in which 100 players fight to be the last one standing, or the last surviving squad if you play in teams. The players can use a variety of weapons and hacks (power-ups) to get rid of their opponents.

Content specific issues

This game contains frequent depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. Characters have little or no reaction to the violence. However, a health bar above their heads indicates their current status. When their health bar has been depleted, their bodies fall to the floor where they immediately vanish, leaving behind various loot items. The vast majority of the violence is inflicted with firearms. However, special abilities and melee attacks can also be used. Regardless of the type of violence used, the reactions to the violence always remain the same. This game also contains infrequent use of mild bad language. The Greek word “Skata” can be found in the game's dialogue.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game currency, which can be used to obtain various in-game items and battle passes, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
