Brief outline of the game

Hack and slash game in which a hero must battle against hordes of enemies, in order to reclaim territory, while giving orders to allies.

Content specific issues

This game features frequent non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. When enemies are hit, bright lights and magical effects appear. When enemies are defeated, they fall to the floor and vanish from the battlefield with no visible injuries. Characters use a variety of weapons, including swords, spears, axes and magical spells. Violence is also seen in cutscenes, although it is generally only implied with the camera cutting away from the violence or with bright flashes of light covering the impacts. Advice for consumers

This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This rating has been given because it features graphic violence, violence against vulnerable and defenceless characters, motiveless killing of innocent characters, and use of strong language.

Brief outline of the game

Expansion to the role-playing game AC: Valhalla, in which players visit the Norse mythological realm of Svartalfheim and battle against fantasy monsters.

Content specific issues

This game contains frequent depictions of graphic violence. Powerful attacks with weapons can cause decapitation or dismemberment. Blood flows from wounds and severed limbs are seen lying on the floor after they have been cut off. When a concealed blade is used to assassinate an enemy, it is shown inside the victim’s body as it slices through and pierces various organs. The game also contains infrequent depictions of motiveless killing of innocent people. There is a section of the game in which the player must pillage a town. A number of the humans the player encounters are innocent men and women who can be killed indiscriminately. A large number of these characters will scream and try to flee. However, they can still be chased and then killed. The game also features depictions of violence towards defenceless human characters. There are multiple examples of humans being tortured or killed whilst they are restrained and unable to escape. There is also frequent use of strong language ('fuck' and 'cunt').

Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child.
