Human-like characters are subjected to magical attacks, which cause them to be knocked backwards and then fall in a ragdoll motion when defeated. In one scene, a character is restrained by magical chains and a man plunges his arm through the restrained character's body. In another scene, a character appears to strangle himself and push himself up against a car, when he is possessed by a spirit. A strong sense of threat and dread is present throughout the game.
