Turn-based strategy game, set during the Hundred Years War, in which multiple factions fight for control of the Kingdom.

General gameplay features turn-based battles in which human and animal characters engage in fighting. Physical reactions are generally minimal and unrealistic, with damage indicated via life meters. However, some moves trigger a short cinematic sequence depicting attacks in closer shot and in greater detail, including with more realistic physical reactions and blood effects. These sequences include sight of people being shot, stabbed and crushed, as well as being mauled by bears and dogs. Larger scale cinematic scenes also feature more detailed and close-up scenes of combat.

There is sight of dead bodies, including people hanging from trees and a corpse being struck with a mace. Dialogue includes use of bad language including 'bloody'.
