The story focuses around Ryudo, a sarcastic "Geohound", who hunts monsters for their living. He receives a mission to guard a sister of Granas, Elena, during a rite to reseal an ancient evil god. However, the rite runs into difficulties, leading to a much longer quest to escort Elena across the continent to meet Pope Zera.

Content specific issues

This game contains frequent depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. Bright lights appear on impact of attacks whilst numbers show the amount of damage that has been inflicted. Characters frequently let out small grunts and cries of pain, although no visible injuries appear on their bodies. When a member of the party has been defeated, they fall to the floor where their bodies remain until they are revived, or the battle has ended. This game also contains infrequent use of mild bad language. The phrase “bloody hell” can be found multiple times in the dialogue.
