Turn-based isometric shooter. In the year 2076, you are a Shadowrunner, an outcast hired for dangerous covert jobs, in a futuristic Boston inhabited by elves, dwarves, orcs, trolls and humans.

The game features frequent moderate and often bloody violence. On the first strike with weapons which include automatic rifles, pistols and flamethrowers, characters will simply rock back slightly, with a blood effect, but remain standing. On subsequent blows, however, characters will fall to the ground limply and realistically, with more blood. On critical strikes, characters may be killed instantly; for instance, hitting a human character in the chest with a cleaver will cause them to bleed heavily, hunch over and fall to the ground.
