NARCOS: Rise of the Cartels is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game, based around Season 1 of the Netflix TV show. Pick a side (DEA or Narcos), create a squad of units, and then fight turn-based tactical battles.

This game features violence towards human-characters who are restrained. One scene depicts a male character with his hands restrained behind his back, forced to his knees and punched in the face. There is also a scene where unarmed DEA soldiers are being held at gunpoint, on their knees with their hands on their heads and one of them gets hit around the head. In Anarcute you’re not controlling a single character but rather a whole crowd. The bigger the crowd, the more powerful it gets. Wake up your fellow rioters in the cities and grow the revolt.

Enemies consist of police units. Ranging from normal police officers to heavy units, snipers etc. These characters, like all other characters in the game, are animal-like with human characteristics. When hit, they show a health bar. No other reaction is visible. When defeated, no matter how, they fly off in the air like in a cartoon. When you lose a bunch of rioters (by a mine, sniper, other type of enemy), they disappear. Most of the times you don’t even see this, since your group is large and chaotic. All the reactions to the violence, as well as the violence itself is very cartoony and funny.
